Finally surrounded by people just like him, Mike has the new life and new home he’d been longing for, working with the Institute of Hyperfocal Investigations in the city he loves.

But while he enjoys the challenges of making new friends, learning to work with others, and fine-tuning his abilities, the IHI presents a disturbing revelation: people aren’t always what they seem.

As much as it pains him to admit it, there’s something sinister going on within the institute. And when he stumbles upon a secret, it threatens to change everything Mike thought he knew.
